*2 FULL TIME OPENINGS AVAILABLE*

ABOUT ME

Welcome to my site! First I want to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about who I am. My name is Erika, I am a 29 year old married mother of 3 amazing children ages 8, 5 and 1 1/2! I love spending time with my babies, reading books, and I love photography. I have the BEST most rewarding job in the world, I'm a full time mom and I LOVE it! I've been running a home daycare for over 4 years which I take great pride in, but most of my experience comes from being a mom! I am
very reliable and have not once taken a sick day off (I rarely get sick!).  We are a non-smoking family. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and I keep my First Aid Kit in the playroom for easy access.

Why I opened a daycare:

After struggling to find a quality daycare for my first born, I decided to stay home with my boys after the birth of my second son, Ryan. I moved to Queen Creek to a large, spacious home and with the added space decided to open up that quality daycare I was unable to find.  I understand the struggles and concerns parents go through when looking for a daycare because I have been in your shoes.   It was very stressful for me to leave my baby in a daycare to go to work.   I was stressed, worried and wondered if my baby was in good hands.   Was he being loved or neglected? I know, I GET IT! My goal is to provide a safe "home away from home" environment, provide quality loving childcare by keeping low ratios, earn your trust, and become your child's last daycare provider until he/she is ready for school.

Children are my passion and I LOVE my job! When you see your child is excited to come here you will begin to see that they are treated here as if they were my own. If you want your child to receive a lot of one on one time, love and special attention- you have found the right place. It is not uncommon for me to see parents struggling to take their child home because their child does not want to leave!

PLAYROOM
I have a really FUN playroom dedicated for the children. It is very large and spacious, colorful, and loaded with great toys, books, puzzles, educational games, and even 2 Mac Computers with educational software just for the children. This room is a child's fantasy with all the bells and whistles!!! I am always investing in my daycare, always looking at ways to improve it and make it better and am always buying new toys, books and arts and crafts to keep things exciting! I strive to provide the BEST for all the kiddos in my care!!! I believe this really sets me apart from many other home daycare providers. There are just too many things to list here, my kids are spoiled and so will yours!

Here's my CPR and First Aid Certification framed on the wall, and my first aid kit mounted right next to it in the case of an accident.

Check out our NEW PLAYHOUSE!!!  It is huge and comes with it's own kitchen with a sink, cabinets and a stove. It has a table w/ 2 chairs and the front door even has a doorbell! Woohoo!!!

MEALS/SNACKS

A healthy breakfast, lunch and 1 late snack is provided. Daily fruits and/or veggies with their meal and a variety of different foods.
(Infants: Parents are responsible for providing formula, bottles, and diapers and wipes- I provide baby food)

"More Please!" LOL...

ACTIVITIES/LEARNING

We do a variety of daily fun aCtiViTiEs including reading, painting, playdo, lots of puzzles, coloring, pretend games, hide and seek, arts and crafts, making puppets and having puppet shows, drawing, singing and dancing, building train tracks for our trains, potato head, legos, play sets, dolls, grocery cart, computer educational games and so much more!

Our learning/pre-school activities include: Name writing, ABC's, letter sounds, #'s, circle time, sorting, colors, shapes, size comparison, tracing, rhyming, matching, patterns, and even learning some spanish! (I'm fluent in both languages).

My most recent investment is the purchase of the i-pad for my pre-schoolers!!! I have them use the i-pad to enhance their learning experience with many many educational apps to choose from!

Circle Time
We LOVE to sing here! We start circle time with a good morning song in English, and one is spanish followed by a welcome song. Then we move on to songs about the Calendar, days of the week, months of the year, etc.

We listen to music and sing many many fun songs including:
*A song about shapes *ABC Song *Twinkle Twinkle Little Star *Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes *Old Mcdonnald *The Spider is On the Floor **Many many others... *We usually end the singing with their favorite.. Ring around the Rosie where we walk in a circle holding hands and of course we fall to the floor at the end of the song. This is hilarious, the kids LOVE it, and we usually repeat it a few times because they want to do it again and again and again! We end circle time by reading a story.

Why go to the park and risk transporting your kids when we have a really fun playground set in our own backyard!

TREASURE CHEST

This fun treasure chest is loaded with many treasures to choose from! My kids are rewarded for good behavior, and after they earn enough stars they get to choose something from the treasure chest!

NAPTIME
Naptime (for those who take one) is usually around noon and each child will have his own bed/crib (Not the sofa here, just love the picture!). They will not be sleeping on the floor with uncomfortable mats. Those who don't take naps will be given quiet activities to do during this time.

PETS

We do have 3
sweet kid friendly and playful dogs! 2 Beagles (Buster and Thora), they absolutely love kids!  There is not an ounce of aggression in these dogs and all they want is your love and affection! My 1 year old will sit on them, pull their tail and does what ever she wants to them and they will not even growl.

Our other little dog is a 1 1/2 year old Rat Terrier named GiZmO! Gizmo is a rescue, we brought him home for Christmas and he is the perfect little lapdog.

Our 4 legged friends do spend the majority of their day during daycare hours in their own designated area for safety purposes (they like to jump and can knock down the little ones when excited).

Our other pets are fish!  Children LOVE learning about the ocean and of course they love to watch Dory and Nemo in action!
